Today my mom and I went to the funeral of Father Tim, who we'd become friends with following his coming to stay at St. Nicholas during his retirement (this was...I don't know, maybe 10 years ago?). My mom and I went to Mass this morning. I haven't been on Ash Wednesday since...well, I've only gone once, back when my age was in the single digits. Father Danh was the celebrant.
